			<title>Down the stretch they come AGAIN!</title>
			<link>http://est1967.com/blues_news/down_the_stretch_they_come_again.html</link>
			<description>Yeah, we really just needed a new article on the front page. Biggest news so far of the Trade Deadline relating to the Blues....minor league prospect exchange. Woo hoo. Hopefully D&amp;#39;Agostini will find this magic scoring touch I&amp;#39;ve read so much about and will help the Blues.

With only 13 games to go, the Blues stand one point out of 8th place in the Western Conference standings. Let&amp;#39;s take a closer look at the remaining schedule to judge how close the Blues are to making the playoffs.

			<title>The State of the Playoff Run: Are the Blues Really in it?</title>
			<link>http://est1967.com/blues_news/the_state_of_the_playoff_run_are_the_blues_really_in_it.html</link>
			<description>The Blues are 3 points out of the Western Conference playoffs right now with 21 games remaining. Common sense says they&amp;#39;re in this, but let&amp;#39;s take closer look at the numbers to see how well they have to play from here on in order to play their first post-season hockey in 5 years.

			<title>Blues high on Tortorella...possible 2nd &quot;in waiting&quot; sort of move?</title>
			<link>http://est1967.com/blues_news/blues_high_on_tortorella...possible_2nd_in_waiting_sort_of_move.html</link>
			<description>Let me get started by editorializing a bit here:

What are the Lightning doing? Did they really fire John Tortorella with the intention of hiring Barry Melrose? Do they really think that Melrose is somehow more attractive to a perspective buyer than a proven Cup winner in Tortorella?

			<title>Trying Times, a Pythagorean Update and a Great Website!</title>
			<link>http://est1967.com/thoughts/trying_times_a_pythagorean_update_and_a_great_website.html</link>
			<description>
These are trying times for Blues fans.

Despite some recent success, the offense has returned to 05-06 levels. To top things off, the Blues had an uninspired trade deadline, with acquiring neither high draft choices, nor anyone worth mentioning in the Blues long term plans. Fans can accept if their team is bad, especially if the franchise is headed in the right direction...but the last week has many questioning the direction of this bad team.

Andy Murray seems to be thrilled with the idea of retarding the youth movement by restricting Erik Johnson&amp;#39;s ice time (despite him often being the Blues best defenseman), and sitting David Perron in the pressbox. I can&amp;#39;t want to see how he treats prospects like T.J. Oshie, Patrik Berglund, Lars Eller, and Ian Cole when this team is forced to rely on cheap youngsters.
