From a radio interview on 1380 ESPN:
-"We have a need up the middle" - They'll be looking for help @ center.
-Willing to trade @ the draft...but would be looking for players with longevity, meaning they'll want young players.
-"I'm not sure that we'll see 3 1st round draft picks on the part of the Blues" - moves likely.
-'a player with a larger contract could be moved'
-He talked about continuing to build even via trade and signing. He seems to be lobbying for getting NHL players, but only if they're young enough to help in the long term.
He again emphasized the need for better play from the center position.
